I'm a professional musician who enjoys working with students and passing along my knowledge of the arts. In 2013 I graduated from the University of Evansville with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Percussion Performance and a Jazz Studies Certificate. During the summer of 2013, I attended New York University's Broadway Percussion Seminar and took private lessons on Timpani and sight reading. In 2015 I received my certification in the operation of Pro Tools in a recording studio and a degree in Contemporary Drum Performance from the Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena. Read More

I've found that being flexible and adaptible is most important to me, as everyone learns in a different way. I place a lot of importance on following student interest and goals as well, since it doesn't matter how great your instruction is if you're bored and don't want to keep playing. I think every student should get as much out of their lesson experience as they want, whether that means a more casual experience where you're not practicing too much throughout the week, or holding my student more accountable if they express more ambitious goals. So many drummers you see today are not schooled and its a shame. if you start with a good solid foundation you can be the best there is.
