At that time, I would teach younger kids who were interested in learning music. in 2015 however, I took on a full time schedule of music students, traveling to homes in the greater Boston area to teach. My love for teaching began as a peer tutor in college. I tutored students in piano, guitar, bass ear training, and music theory. I began to love teaching when I noticed the change and progress it creates within people. While in college, I taught at a musical theatre camp as a music teacher. I taught music theory, ear training, and vocal music. Right after I graduated college I was accepted into the music education program at Teachers College Columbia University where I received my masters degree in music education along with certification in New York state to teach Pre-K through 12. Setting short term and long terms goals will be the key to improvement. I believe in playing with music when you are learning as well.
