In addition, I work with my students to develop a curriculum that is high individualized and caters to their needs and, more importantly, their interests. For intermediate and advanced students, I focus on repertoire, etudes, and coordination studies, in order to build technique while learning the standard repertoire pieces. I was born in Israel, spending my teens in Brazil, and my 20’s in Paris France, where I studies with Kenny Clark among others. In 1996 I moved to the US where I received an artist Visa, and later a green card and citizenship. I haven been living in NJ for the past decade, and I draw my musical inspiration from the corners of the world. Throughout the years I worked extensively with Brazilian and African bands, studied Carnatic drumming, and played with many Jazz groups around Europe and the US. Read More
