I have recently relocated back to NYC and love it here. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia and a graduate of UGA. I have been fortunate enough to record on tons of records and tour the world many times over. My work has kept me super versatile as I have done everything from big band and small group jazz to rock and funk. I have taught drums to kids as young as 5 to adults as "young" as 50 so far, and I love to adapt my ways of explaining the concepts depending on the age or personality of the student. My teaching style allows the child to have fun while they learn their instrument, but I emphasize a strong practice regiment.
