Upon my graduation I was accepted into Berklee College of Music on a merit-based scholarship and received my Bachelors of Music in Drumset Performance. I've been teaching guitar for the past four years and drums for 10. My favorite thing about teaching is when a student gets to a playing level they didn't think possible. Seeing the transformation is the most rewarding part of the job for me, because I know first hand how good it feels to improve and progress. For a beginning student on voice or drums, fundamentals will be incorporated into their warm-ups each lesson and throughout the week. Each student has a reason for wanting to take lessons and incorporating that into the lessons will give the student more drive to practice.
