I'm a passionate and experienced musician with a love of teaching. I have been playing drums for over 15 years. My musicianship began in the 5th grade and has continued throughout my time in high school marching band at Troy High School, where I was in the drumline for all four years. I have participated in worship bands at several local churches in Orange County and Redondo Beach, and have developed my skills both as a drummer, bass player, and audio technician during my decade and a half of experience as a church drummer. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance and am currently earning an A.A in Jazz Studies at Saddleback Community College and plan to pursue an M.M following completion where I hope to teach K-13 . From a family of musicians, I started playing the cello at the age of 5. After being a cellist for the Conservatory of Quebec Orchestra in Saguenay, I switched to percussion. I recorded the Flight of the Bumble Bee for the first time at age 14 and became a symphonic percussionist later with the National Art Center Orchestra of Canada as well as for the Ottawa Symphony while playing for the Starlighters and Savoy Swing Band at the Penguin cafe in Ottawa.
