I was given a drumset when I was 9 and switched to drums full time when I was 11. After high school, I attended University of North Texas to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Performance. After their highly acclaimed self-titled debut album on International Anthem, a second album is due to be released in 2020. Navarro also has a duo project with Brooklyn-based drummer Tcheser Holmes. I have taught classical percussion rudiments on the snare drum and keyboard instruments as well as drum set.
