I have taught drum instruction and Jazz ensemble at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music for 20 years. In addition I developed and implemented elementary music programs for K-5 thru 4th grade for schools in the NY vicinity. Upon moving to the Milwaukee area I have taught private and group instruction for the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, Elementary Music K-5 thru 8th grade at St. Josaphat's school, Music Therapy and intergenerational activities at the Lutheran Home, private studio and now Musika. I love to understand fully what draws each student to music and look to keep instruction and practice fun and relaxed. Music is a lifelong passion and I want to create an atmosphere that encourages creativity and a desire to seek out other musicians. My teaching style is not rigid and I am not afraid to experiment to see what each student responds best to.
