i teach a early childhood program and classes music and movement for babies,toddlers, 3y to 5y ages, 5y to 8y ages, mixed ages, and 9y. to pre-teens and teens called Musikgarten. I am licensed and bonded music instructor. I teach general music to ages 3y to 103y. To all styles, levels, experiences. I am a percussionist , drummer and beginning piano instruction. I have a music degree as well a master's degree in education. I have been teaching for the past 20 years with both school age student's as well as adults in individual and group settings. Did projects such as Music to My Ears project which won an international award. "Modern Reading Text in 4/4 time" and "Modern Reading text in odd-time" - They are different books than most use, and I use them especially for my jazz students but I have fount them to be invaluable. A creative method for practice is always necessary, using multiple tools live links to videos, links to audio and sharing my own playing videos on my website. I have collected a wide variety of elements that i commonly incorporate to my lessons. Assignments as practicing a song, listening and recording a video while playing along.
