I'm not overly harsh or judgmental but instead I try to make each lesson a true learning experience where there's no pressure and the student is free to make mistakes (even encouraged to take risk and make mistakes) in pursuit of their passion of music. Getting my students to understand that this journey is a marathon and not a race is important so that they can understand how they should pace themselves as they progress.
