Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music. It is so important that each individual student progresses at his or her own ace. I encourage this progress by setting realistic and clear goals for my students at each lesson. When I acknowledge their accomplishments, it helps to fuel the desire to learn of the student and makes them eager to learn more. For beginning students I try to go slow and make sure that they get the fundamentals and essentials down. My beliefs are that learning each stage well will help expedite the process of learning and playing later in life. At some point shortly after the fundamentals we will begin on solo literature and possibly duet literature.
