I've been studying and playing drumset for 7 years and I am a rising sophomore at Belmont University. There, I am studying commercial percussion with an emphasis in performance and will get my degree in Bachelor of Arts in 2025. For beginning students, I emphasize a strong understanding of fundamentals. From there we can move on to more complex concepts, techniques, and excersizes. I try to get the students listening to music and eventually, they come to me with what they would like to learn about. The student becomes the boss, will progress and develop at his or her own pace.
