In the past six years, I have taught privately at the School of Rock in Downingtown and Guitar center in Lancaster. I have also done some group lessons with a Lancaster based nonprofit called Music For Everyone. I try to challenge my students every week with sight reading and ear training methods. Besides from drum set, I have access to congas, djembe's, marimbas, vibraphones and many other percussion instruments, so my students can grow not just as a drum set player, but as a percussionist as well. I relocated to Washington DC after winning the drumset chair for the United States Navy Band Sea Chanters in 2017. In the Air Force I played piano with the Washington State Air National Guard Jazz band for two years. Most of my experience with teaching has taken place while traveling on the road and helping individuals prepare for recording sessions.
