Next, I pick a method book to work through to learn the fundamentals. For trombone, I use Rubank's "Elementary Method." My teaching experience dates back all the way to Middle School, when I started teaching my first saxophone student. I continued teaching in High School in the following subject areas: Physics, Geometry, Algebra (all math), and Chemistry. I started teaching swim lessons in early college too.
