Hello! I'm a Berklee College of Music Alumnus with 20+ years playing experience! I started studying the saxophone at 9 years old and spent most of my early school years performing in community, school, and local college jazz bands around the Seattle-Tacoma area of Washington State. I went to a performing arts high school called The Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach Florida where I excelled in perforance on clarinet and saxophone. Each student is unique. They require their own method and pace of training. My hope is to help the student reach their goals while still enjoying their time practicing for it. The routine that works best for the student will prove itself over time depending on the student. It may be to work one way for one student but not so much for another student. Nothing is more rewarding to me that seeing a student make steady progress in their lessons and feel proud of themselves in what they have accomplished! I will tailor my lessons to what the student wants to ultimately take away from the lessons, and then I will help them achieve that goal at a pace that is suitable for them and encourages healthy, sustainable growth towards their desired outcome.
