For children who are just starting, I use Bastien Piano Basics Primer Level-Level 2. From here, students graduate to selections primarily from Bach, Chopin and Beethoven. For adults I use Alfred's beginner adult course. I also supplement these books with several books that I have in my personal library, such as Keith's Snell's Essential Piano Repertoire. My musical involvements at school are focused in my performances with the CSUF Wind Symphony and the CSUF Symphony Orchestra, where I served as the principal clarinet for our last concert season. While I've been in college ,I've been fortunate to play in music festivals in both the US (Hawaii Performing Arts Festival) and Canada (Domaine Forget) and toured with the CSU Fullerton Wind Symphony in Portugal and China.
