Anthony Rodriguez is a Chicago-based woodwind doubler who is proficient in flute, oboe, saxophone and clarinet. He studied these instruments while attaining his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Brooklyn College under the esteemed Bernard Goldberg (Flute), Bob Ingliss (Oboe), and Paul Cohen (Saxophone). When students move on to other materials, I draw upon their interests and the genre in which they are playing to find materials. I encourage classical students to listen to the repertoire so they can bring in pieces that they want to work on. In addition to my on-campus endeavors, I was also a sought-after saxophonist in central Indiana. I was able to play in combos, big bands, and blues bands professionally while working on my studies.
