...It is best to practice the right things than spend lots of time doing thing incorrectly.what i mean by that is you can spend hours practicing sloppily with poor technique and not achieve the same results as some one who works on the correct way of practicing.I compare practicing to lifting weights for most instruments because you are developing muscles.That is how you learn to play with feeling,which is the most important part of playing music.That is what people relate to.By pressing hard on the fret board,singing strong and pounding the keys.You cant control your quiet sounds till you control your loud sounds....
