I started teaching privately over 5 years ago, from my college apartment bedroom, and ever since I have been consistently teaching. Some students come and go, but I have some that have remained over the years. I believe that music is all about inspiration, which then leads to motivation. I love sharing music. It is probably our greatest gift as human beings, and the most fun activity. I run my own music camp and love nature. I have performed in jazz, folk, rock and original music bands as a first call session player and arranger. I also lead my own original music bands. I graduated Berklee undergrad in 2005 and have taught all levels and ages since then. I came back to the US to attend the first Master's Program at Berklee College of Music and I love sharing my knowledge with both beginners and advance musicians. Read More

I started my teaching career in 1996, teaching at the same music studio where I took lessons when I was younger. I try to carry some of the teaching techniques that were shown to me when I was taking lessons into my own style of teaching. This includes making the lesson fun as well as educational for the student. Daily practice is strongly encouraged, as well as playing with other musicians, recitals, and writing their own songs. Everyone has the end product in mind when it comes to learning an instrument.  When someone picks up a Guitar, the learning process is not the first thing they think of: they think of the stage and sounding like their heroes. I'm here to remind all my students that there should never be an end; music is a never ending journey! Read More
