I began teaching privately in high school at the age of 16, what started as one weekly lesson quickly became several; over that time I developed a strong passion for teaching. Watching a student's talent grow is extremely rewarding to me. Over the past 7 years I have taken my knowledge gained through my own studies and adapted them to my lessons. I also perform regularly with Samba Lolo, a renowned World-beat/Afro-pop ensemble led by Mali native Boubacar Diabate. Recent venues include theAfrican Festivalin Lowell, MA and theNortheast Kingdom Music Festivalin Albany, VT among other clubs and festivals across the United States. In addition to these creative endeavors, I have recently been touring and recording with the renowned World fusion band Newpoli. I am a guitarist/bassist originally from the South Shore of Massachusetts. In 2011, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music. As a musician I have toured all through the east coast and have traveled west all the way to Montana. As a guitarist I strive to be creative through improvisation and draw inspiration from many different artists. These are ranging from The Beatles to Phish to Radiohead and everything in between.
