My methods are not standard, I believe in teaching technical sides of an instrument and the creative sides. For younger students I will teach them the basics of chords and progressions, eventually leading to write their first songs. For young adults and adults I want to have them learn chords, styles, and the uses of their instruments. Creativity will always be the most important thing to hone.
