I am a professional guitar player, composer and educator. In 2008, I graduated from Michigan State University with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Composition. Prior to that, I finished programs in Europe as a guitar player in 1991. I moved to the United States in 1994. From 1995 to 2001, I've completed Master's degrees in Guitar, Composition and Electronic Music from University of Maine and Cleveland State University. I started teaching guitar in High School in 2009, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 8 years. I took private lessons for 7 years from four different guitar instructors, so I know what works and what doesn't. My number one focus as a teacher is keeping my students engaged, and doing my best to ignite their passion for the instrument of guitar.
