From there, I take the student through simple exercises where assess the students ability in the fundamentals of, postural alignment, breath support, resonance, articulation, and vowel constancy. Hailed for his hints at thunderous lows (Richmond Arts), bass-baritone Karl B. is quickly gaining traction to becoming a major talent in the opera world. Most recently, Karl portrayed the god of thunder, Thor (Donner) in Das Rheingold with TUNDI Productions, as part of their Wagner in Vermont Festival. Previously, he sang the role of Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music with MIOpera in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. As advanced players, we will focus on refining skills with drill books as well as work on standards in solo repertoire.
