The goal for each lesson is for the student to notice their progress and develop a passion for music. Student input is very important to me. In my lessons I strive to make the student feel comfortable enough to ask questions and make comments about their own progress. I am encouraging yet firm and expect a lot from my students. My lessons are fun and informative, and they help me convey my love of music! Read More

Hello! My name is Kathryn and I am currently a Senior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire studying Vocal Performance. I have been taking private voice lessons for 5 years of my own, and will be graduating this coming Fall 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance. Shortly thereafter, I'm attending Graduate School to pursue a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance. Though I am a Classically-trained vocalist, I love to teach Musical Theatre, Classical and Opera; as I'm fluid in all three genres enough to teach them all confidently. Read More

I like to examine individual techniques and practice habits and make sure students know "how" to practice. Applying theoretical, and musical concepts also greatly improves performance ability among students. Figuring out how to make drills musical and fun is how I prefer to teach! Read More

My teaching style focuses on figuring out what makes the most sense to the student themselves, because I can toss as much information at them as possible and the only stuff that will truly stick will be information that they can break down and put into their own words. Building blocks of knowledge that they lay themselves set upon a foundation of musical love and intrigue build the best basis for consistent and wanted growth. Read More

It has been a wonderful experience getting to know students from all walks of life with unique interests as well as unique goals. From learning how to simply count and name notes to learning the hardest viola concerto, I am there every step of the way for my students. Read More

Michael Aaron Piano Courses for children and adults had usually proven a good start for piano lessons. Sometimes, a student will need something other than a method book: I will then personally design a program for them based on the way in which they assimilate information and translate that into musical understanding and technique. It is normally a combination of internet information and my personal compositions. For voice, I use no specific published method course. Read More
