My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part-time many years ago while learning piano at University and working in children's creative center. I listen carefully and ask questions, basing instruction on what creates success. My approach is to make learning fun. I am a professional performer and vocal instructor, and have sung on professional stages such as Mount Baker Theater's repertory theater and the Whatcom Symphony opera series in Bellingham, Washington. I am a classically trained musician and relish singing folk, jazz, and other popular styles of singing.
