I truly love helping people uncover their passion for singing and developing their unique voice. During the first lesson, I ask the students about their musical goals and if there are particular techniques they feel they want or need to master. I ask the student to keep a record of this, as having a mission or musical goals is vital in keeping engaged with practice. I know the voice is personal for all singers; hearing critique can often be difficult and disheartening. With this in mind, I approach all students differently. I am a graduate of LIU Post who holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Education, Trombone Studies. During my time at LIU, I spent time taking lessons in clarinet, tuba, baritone horn/euphonium, piano, and trumpet. I am currently a Chorus/General Music teacher in Roosevelt. In addition to my day time job, I have maintained a small low brass studio but am looking to expand.
