I solely trained in Europe and took classes from vocalists like, Katarina Lange-Frohberg, Sigfried Lorenz and Christiane Bergold.I have moved to the United States in 1996 and have been working in the education and performance field of musical theater. At Northwestern, it was my responsibility, on top of earning my degree, to teach lessons to non-music major students. These student came from all backgrounds and experience levels, and their fields of study included math, computer science, drama, and more. Along with my other students, who I've taught privately for years, they all made improvements in performance practice, musicianship, and, of course, their voices. For beginning students I make sure we know every warm up exercise and stretching exercises for the fingers after explaining the importance of rehearsing properly. We will start getting familiarized with a couple circles until the student fluently knows how to accompany every chord. After we are going to learn scales so they also familiarized with licks and comp.
