I fell in love with teaching and after receiving my Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance, I began teaching private lessons and directing the commercial vocal ensemble at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. I teach vocal students from ages 6-adult. We work on breathing techniques, music theory, interpretation, and style. I like students to sing their favorite styles. I also expose them to songs that I feel would be appropriate for their growth. We also work on performance and auditions! First and foremost, the main end goal for me with every single one of my students in my studio is attempting to develop the same love and passion for music that I have been so lucky to develop through having enthusiastic, knowledgeable, talented instructors as well.
