I am an experienced music teacher with a background in rock, blues, and folk music. As a self-taught guitarist, drummer, and harmonica player, I have years of experience both teaching and performing music. After studying classical guitar, voice, and music education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, I graduated from Appalachian State university with a master's in guitar performance in August of 2022. I am passionate about singing and about teaching others singing technique. I have my bachelor‘s degree in music from the University of Mount Olive. I also studied in the Masters program at ECU for vocal pedagogy. I’ve had leads in local operas and and I am also a vocal artist who sings gospel music along with other genres.
