I graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Music performance, emphasis in voice. During that time I was given the opportunities to sing with some wonderful groups including Kentucky Opera Chorus, Cardinal Singers, Early Music Ensemble, and Choral Arts Society. Since moving to Colorado in 2016, I have sang with multiple quartets and ensembles, including St Martin's Chamber Choir, Gaudium Verum, Anima Chamber Ensemble as well as continuing to teach music in an individual and/or choral setting. I taught private guitar lessons continuously, while in highschool and college. In between engagements in my performing career, I would always return to teaching. In 1992 I was certified by Dr. L Scott Martin, Phd from Juilliard, to teach vocal performance at his Academy of the Arts in Denver, and I have continued to the present, to coach young singers to express themselves with music. I have been blessed in helping many of my students to reach some impressive accomplishments in music, such major record deals, appearances on TV and Film, and getting in to some great music colleges.
