Yes for teaching piano I use Nancy and Randall Faber's books. I have used all of them. For guitar and mandolin I generally do not use a "book". As the lessons progress I might introduce a book if that is what is called for. All orchestral instruments call for the structure of a book and I augment that with my own explanations. My teaching experience began with teaching trumpet and guitar lessons early on during my undergraduate degree, roughly 6 years ago. Since then I have encouraged the students I have had while my focus has been on performing. After finishing my studies, I have worked as a Chorus teacher working with both the band director and all of the students in the music program for their various needs.
