I teach in either the students' home or in my living room. I fell into and in love with teaching my senior year of college when I accepted an internship oppertunity at Northminster Presbyterian where I taught begining music skills through games and team building. First, the student and I will have a consultation to discuss the specific goals and aspirations they have for their voice. After this discussion, we will create goals accordingly. Examples of materials we will examine are breath management, tone production, diction, enunciation, articulation, acting, speaking, theory and history.  I have been teaching in the Columbus area for 14 years.  I have studied piano and voice for 30 years performing and had experience auditioning for and performing in musical theater, opera, and contemporary settings. I have a passion for music. I started on the piano when I was seven years old and I've never looked back. After spending years in grade school, junior high and high school learning and performing in the band program on trumpet and euphonium, I moved on to play euphonium in The Most Exciting Band in the Land, the Ohio University Marching 110! I just moved to the Chicago area in the beginning of 2013 to further my performing career. Curently I sing with Chicago Opera Playhouse and am actively auditioning in the Chicago area.
