I am going into my senior year at Miami University with a degree in music with a focus on vocal and general music education. I have been performing since I was in high school and still do through college through choirs and individual vocal experiences. For voice I create my own custon lesson plans and use a variety of materials. Students will work on a great variety of repetorie from pop to renaissance. Students are encourgaed to learn to read music, with a great emphasis placed upon practical music theory. I aim to develop intellegent musical artists, foscuing upon intrepretation, critical thinking, historical considerations and creativity. For piano I general use the Faber and Faber method books unless I feel that a particular method would better benefit a specific student. Read More

Learning to sing or play the piano is both fun and hard work. It requires patience, positive thinking, and a commitment to making practicing a priority.
