I am passionate about all aspects of music, including music composition, theory, and history, and I include these important subjects in my instruction. Whilestill an undergraduate at Indiana University, I taught private voice lessons to instrumental students in the School of Music, and I continued teaching while pursuing my Master's degree. After completing my graduate degree in 2008, I started my own private teaching studio and joined the faculty of well accredited music teaching companies. Through the my Master's degree at CCM I kept a small private studio of piano and voice students. I am now up to 26 students and work full time teaching and performing. I am a high-energy, working professional singer with 15+ years of performance experience and 10+ years of vocal teaching/coaching at your service! I received a Masters of Music in Voice from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and a Bachelors of Music from DePauw University. Classically trained and now singing as the female lead of a regional wedding band 2-5 nights a week. During my time at DePauw, I spent time in China singing with a chamber choir, a summer singing with an opera company in Novafeltria, Italy, and a semester studying at the conservatory in Milan, Italy.
