For beginner students who are children, I tend to lean into the music that they are more fond of listening to and develop an atmosphere of interest while using various colors, singing methods, rhymes that will grasp their attention and in the long run develop their ear. Though I went on to pursue other studies, music has remained both a leading player in my life and the field in which I have the most raw talent and experience. Since then I have performed in several groups and as a solo act. I played fiddle for the Galveston based folk band "The Grog".
