I have been offering group and private piano classes specialized in teaching beginners(both children and adults) using Mayron Cole's Piano Method for 10+ years in my home studio. I started first by teaching kindermusik for babies and toddlers in a neighborhood church location and a music studio in the Copperfield area, then I opened my home studio in 2004 by offering group keyboarding lessons for many young beginners. My lessons are not built for me to tell the student what to do, but rather learn how they learn and research the best practices for reaching that student. There is no "cookie cutter" method that works for all students, because everyone learns and comprehends a little bit differently. I remain sensitive to that and patient with my students. I'm still a student myself so I know that my students might not have time to practice every day, but at the same time, you've got to practice consistently to see results.
