I began performing solo and touring around Europe with a Jazz-Funk band, The Freeks. At the same time I began studying at the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz, Poland to finally move to Miami and graduate from Florida International Univeristy with BA in Music. I performed for Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line for 5 years, which included teaching piano classes for the Royal Caribbean Academy. I like to start my lessons from the very beginning which is tuning the instrument, so that the instrument sounds good. To me music is about 10% technicality and 90% feeling. For the more advanced player, I introduce them to the "Rose 40 Etudes" book and prepare them for solo, and ensemble repertoire. The goal in every lesson is to keep it fun and engaging. I encourage all students in every level to practice regularly, and keep a notebook of their progress in lesson that they will use as a reference in their practice sessions.
