My teaching started in the final years of high-school. I started teaching trumpet to kids. Once I started college in Buenos Aires(Argentina) in a music composition degree I worked with several masters in a multitude of instruments(violin, flute, trumpet, guitar) which i was able to start teaching and performing live. At the same time I developed a craving for movement practice and martial arts. This 'kinetic' approach allowed me to be much better with my students, analyzing their body and consequently their needs in regards to practice. Read More

My style is open minded. I first try to know the students' goals and prepare a course of action accordingly. Then I try to know how much the students already knows and how much talent they have. That allows me to determine how fast I may go with them or how much I must drill and develop a particular skill before going on. Sometimes if I assess the student is jammed or stressed I deem it necessary to digress a bit into music history , philosophy and other fields related to music that work as a refreshing background and point of rebound to the skill part of the lesson while increase the scholarly knowledge of the student. My teaching style is individualized to meet the needs of the students. I like to use a portion of the first lesson to discuss the goals and musical interest of the student regardless of age. I encourage beginner students to learn basic theory to develop rudimentary skills. I then try to incorporate a student’s favorite music into the lesson plans. I also strongly encourage voice and guitar students to write their own music to promote self expression. Read More

My teach experiences started back in my undergraduate career. I began teaching private voice lessons part time to students at certain ages in my home studio for 3 and half years. One of my key points is a consistent schedule for students to practice so they can progress and gain the love for singing like I did. I also like teaching a collaboration of classical, rb, and pop music to help the students gain interest in music. Read More

I usually build the lesson goals individually with each student by getting to know each other. One basic goal in all lessons though is to develope passion for music and for the human voice as a music instrument. Read More

For beginning students, whether they are children or adults, I typically start with an introduction to main vocabulary words that will be used often during classes and a lesson in diaphragmatic breathing for singing. My classes are always tailored to each individual student, so on day one I like to spend a few minutes allowing my students to open up and tell me about their personal music goals, what drives their passion, who they look up to vocally, and what styles they would be most interested to hone in on. Helping Singers realize their "Dream" is my passion. I gained international recognition as a vocal performer of note, having performed on the stages of Acapulco, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Aruba, Curacao and Buenos Aires, to name a few, as well as major U. S. cities. To date, I have two albums to my credit, "Time Wounds All Heels" and "The 23rd Psalm", the latter containing the highly acclaimed title song that while being performed at the 1984 National Baptist Convention musical in Los Angeles, received a standing ovation by some 6,000 listeners.
