If the student feels insecure (all too common of a problem) I try to help them feel relaxed and comfortable while boosting their confidence. I started teaching college age students as an Undergraduate as part of my vocal pedagogy class, and have also taught students for my Graduate vocal pedagogy class. I continued teaching some after the classes concluded. Early in 2013, I officially opened my own voice studio and have been taking new students ever since.
