I began teaching privately in the greater Milwaukee area in 2012. With my help and motivation, a fifth grader decided to keep his flute and play in his beginning band, despite his families' circumstances. Later, I picked up an interested eighth grader, who eventually received a Gold at regional solo contest and also made the all-state band. I am a beginning teaching artist in terms of private studio lessons, but I do have experience in group teaching settings. I am excited to teach students of all voice types and with any musical interest! I was able to compose several pieces, two of which were premiered in four different continents. I graduated from Morgan State University in May 2015 with a passport full of stamps and not a dime of my own money spent on it performing around the world.  In my time in college, I was heavily impacted by several teachers who sparked my interest in teaching. As a performing singer I have been very fortunate to have performed in many of the great concert halls of the world, including Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer Hall, Lincoln Centre, The Barbican and the Royal Albert Hall in London. I have also sung Countertenor roles with many opera companies in the USA and the UK. As a professional choral singer, I was a member of the full time choir at Windsor Castle, England, for 4 years, where I performed in many tours, recordings and royal events. Read More
