Before returning to PA in the summer of 2017, I taught Preschool-6th Grade general music in Richmond and Oakland, CA. Along with classroom teaching, I've taught voice, guitar, ukulele, piano and group music classes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. While working with soloist, I focus on the strength of that singer. We will work on what they are good at and make it even better. My experience began with an internship at the Diller-Quaile School of Music in NYC. I assisted in teaching students from underprivileged school districts by taking them to their classes, encouraging them to play/sing along, and perform for them as well. I earned a certificate in continuing teaching and leadership education from this internship. Later on, I started teaching private lessons at a local music school the last 2 years.
