These student came from all backgrounds and experience levels, and their fields of study included math, computer science, drama, and more. Hello, Ive been teaching in Broward County since 2001. I have my BA and MA from FAU where I studied piano with Judith Burganger and voice with Susan Dorchin. Before that I studied piano with Harold Brown. Ive been trained in the area of performance and that is my specialty. However I also had overcome a medical issue using music so I am also quite proficient in music as medicine. Teaching is a challenging and often relentless profession. Therefore, it is imperative that teachers reflect upon their practice to build on what works in the classroom and also to modify what needs improvement.
