I am a professional violinist with many years of experience in performing, and teaching in all areas of music. I earned my Bachelors of Music from the University of Akron and earned experience there as a Violin Teaching Assistant and Theory and History Tutor, and am currently working towards my Masters in Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy at The Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. When students take lessons with me, they can expect to learn something new every week about the violin, technical abilities, how to create music that tells a story, and most importantly, about themselves and their own creative and learning abilities. I teach strictly by the John Thompson Book Series, Grade 1, Grade 2, and Advanced level. I also make it a goal for the student to learn one major classical piece throughout the course of instruction: "Fur Elise" by Beethoven, or "Moonlight Sonata: 1st Movement" by Beethoven. You will learn how to sight-read and also how to notate. If you want learn how to write your music I can help with that too. Read More

We'll be doing two septets for violin, viola, cello, bass, clarinet, bassoon, and French horn by Adolphe Blanc and Franz Berwald. We just performed them 3 other times in MIllis, MA, Methuen, MA and Hamilton MA, Yes and in August we performed at the Plymouth library in Plymouth MA doing a different program. Our concerts were greatly received and we got standing ovations.. Chamber music is my favorite but I do play in many orchestras as well. Read More

In 2015, I graduated from the University of Connecticut with two Bachelor of Music degrees in Viola Performance and Composition. In 2018, I graduated from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with a Master of Music degree in Composition. During my time at both universities, I performed in many music ensembles ranging from duos to large symphony orchestras. In addition, I have played in ensembles that specialize in early music (Renaissance and Baroque), opera, and new contemporary works. Read More

My teaching style is that I provide a structured environment with very clear expectations and a calm, supportive atmosphere. Within this structure there is plenty of room to expand and explore, myself having developed creative music styles from strict classical to rock improvisation. From an idyllic afternoon in the sun by the shore to an adventure on the high seas, a music studio is the place! The ticket to this magical place? Read More
