We discuss the composition and the students goals in writing the music and I recommend scores to look at as well as articles, book, and journals that are relevant to the students particular interests. I focused on piano but eventually went on to accompany choirs and violin. After graduating from Silla University, I continued teaching both violin and piano lessons in the United States. I enjoys teaching children and encourages lots of parental involvement. I use performance as a tool for motivation by having students put on in-home and group recitals often. Not all students learn the same way, and it is my job as a teacher to be flexible and apply different teaching methods and styles based on the needs of an individual student. This process takes time, and I prefer to work with new students consistently and regularly during the first few months to establish a relationship, discover their individual passion for music and find their unique learning style.
