I am a passionate and encouraging instructor who loves working with students of all ages and playing levels. I graduated from Agnes Scott College in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Violin Performance. Ive participated in a number of ensembles including the Agnes Scott Community Orchestra and multiple chamber ensembles. Teaching music is a very rewarding experience. Its often nice to see a student to be able to open their eyes and understand the music concept. Every child is different. I like to let each student to progress at their own pace. Patience is the key here when learning to play a new music instrument. I am very flexible and layback. I have experience teaching all ages, from 5th grade to 55+, and I find it the most rewarding when my students work hard, improve, and achieve their goals. I urge my students to practice regularly on a consistent schedule; improvement is dependent on this, but I also encourage them to explore. I foster learning more about the music and the people who make their favorite music great, and to seek and discover what they can do on/with the instrument. Read More

I am an instructor that have great passion for teaching, and believes that everyone should have the chance to learn an instrument, no matter the age. I started playing the Violin in 2004, Viola in 2009 and Piano in 2011. I graduated with a Bachelor in Music Performance specializing in Violin in 2015 from Barry University in Miami Shores. During my time, I have performed and held performances with musicians from many different orchestras based in Atlanta and South Florida, including learning from members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and performances with the South Florida Symphony Orchestra. That's why I work hard to get to know each of my students and figure out what their strengths and needs are. My teaching as well as tutoring experience dates back to when I first commenced playing the violin. I was encouraged to tutor other classmates and friends who were having difficulty on the violin, as well as viola. My greatest accomplishment from tutoring was named, "Most Valuable Player" by my orchestra teacher my graduating year in 2019. Always start where the student is, and take them from there. Always encourage and inspire students to be better than yesterday. Progress, no matter the amount, is progress. Take your own pace. If you have a specific deadline, for example a college audition, you will have to commit to practicing more than usual and we will create a plan of action. Also, I do write letters of recommendation. Celebrating daily practice to turn goals into accomplishments, I love seeing my students learn, harness their determination to do more, learn more, and I love seeing my students happy with their self-worth.
