With over a decade of experience teaching, Nerea has taught music to thousands of students in private and group lessons as well as in ensembles and schools. Although Nerea has taught and continues to teach Beginner to Advanced Violin, from ages 3 - 53, her specialty is "Fiddle" music. She is highly knowledgeable in Cape Breton, Scottish, Irish, traditional Breton, Celtic and World music. I love hearing a student improve in their music. I love not only hearing them play but seeing them grow as a person. Music is an incredible powerful gift that can be used in so many different ways. I believe in learning a musical instrument students can be benefited as a person by learning self discipline/patience/perseverance. It's a great way to set goals and see goals met.
