My teaching experience began in my late high school days in 2018. After graduating college, I was excited for the opportunity to work with more students and give them my undivided attention. I currently teach students of all ages, and different playing levels. I love that I can teach music to a diverse collective of students and that each student has their own strengths. Teaching strategies and experience ranges differently from each instructor. For beginners, such as children, I would start with the book series 'Essential Elements'. From experience, Leonard provides the most thorough book to grasp the ability to learn violin. Scale practice and listening sessions would also be a consideration for children as repetition is best to help the younger audience learn such an intricate instrument. As for older students, say teens and adults, I would say depending on the student themselves, I am very malleable to understand what the student wants out of 'music lessons'. Read More

I've played violin since the age of four, learning through the Suzuki Method, and continuing through the summers in music camps. I am a member of the Symphonicity Orchestra in Virginia Beach, VA and the Georgia Philharmonic Orchestra in Atlanta, GA. I have studied under the direction of The Hampton Roads Chamber Players and The Bay Youth Orchestra in Norfolk, VA. Currently performs several times a year at The Biltmore House in Asheville, NC and several other events in the Atlanta Metro area.
