When my student started to understand the basics of the instrument, we begin to create their repertoire with the songs they are interested in and suitable for their level. As a teacher I am patient and considerate. My first priority with beginner students is developing correct posture and relaxed position of hands. This is of most importance since it is difficult to change posture later on and bad posture can affect not only the quality of musical performance, but the health of the student as well. I am very flexible with my teaching methods and put together the best style matching the student's learning strengths. Furthermore, I update and change my methods if I feel the current method is becoming ineffective. I have taught beginners to advanced beginners, and most of my students have to this point hired me to train for a particular upcoming audition.
