I use different methods according to the age, my main interest is to help the student love the music and the rest is just up to time and work. I work on having a natural and flexible posture that allows for easy playing. The violin/viola is hard enough already! So I try to make it as simple and strait forward as possible. For beginning adults I try to determine exactly what they are wanting to achieve by starting an instrument at this point in life.
