I am a native of Long Island, New York, and have been trained in classical voice since I was eight years old and classical violin since I was three years old, working with world renowned artists. My most recent performances include Amy in Little Women with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival coached by the composer himself, Mark Adamo, and Cunegonde in selections from Candide with Carnegie Mellon University Opera. For beginning or young students (under age 8), music-related games are incorporated into lessons to encourage positive growth, rather than thinking of playing an instrument as a "chore". Small assignments are expected to be completed weekly, so that the child feels a sense of accomplishment and progress. For older or more advanced students, lessons are structured by a regimen of scales, exercises, and classical pieces.
